Perfume-making is a creative and personal experience, and everyone's final fragrance will be unique. Our instructors are here to guide you through the process, but scent preferences are subjective and results will vary based on the notes and proportions you choose. Because each perfume is custom-made by you during the workshop, we're unable to offer refunds or replacements simply because you change your mind about your finished fragrance. We encourage you to take your time, test as you go, and ask our team for guidance along the way!
Our workshops involve concentrated fragrance materials and perfumer's alcohol. Guests with known fragrance sensitivities, allergies, or other concerns should use their own discretion when participating and let our team know before the workshop begins. Please follow all instructor guidance when handling fragrance materials. Products should not be ingested or used around the eyes. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend testing your finished fragrance on a small area before regular use.
Plans change—we understand! Cancellations made at least 7 days before your workshop are eligible for a refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop are non-refundable. We're also unable to provide refunds for no-shows, late arrivals, or missed portions of the workshop. However, we do allow for one transfer to a future workshop if notice is given 72 hours before the workshop date. If SF Perfume Workshops needs to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to another available workshop.
If you're unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. Guests who repeatedly make reservations and do not attend without notice may be unable to book future workshops.
Please arrive on time so you can enjoy the full perfume-making experience. Our workshops are designed to build step-by-step, so arriving late may mean missing part of the introduction or fragrance-blending process. If you're running late, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
We want everyone to have a fun and relaxing experience! Please be respectful of our instructors, fellow guests, and workshop space. Only registered guests may participate unless otherwise approved in advance.
Please keep track of your personal belongings during the workshop. SF Perfume Workshops is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
We may occasionally take photos or short videos during workshops to share on our website or social media. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, just let us know before or during the workshop—we're happy to accommodate.
